1/4 I’m a healthy man now
FROM BODY BREAKDOWN TO MEDICAL SYSTEM FAILURE…
I’ve felt like the outcast. I’ve been the black sheep. In my 20s, I travelled, partied too hard. I indulged in late nights, alcohol, eating junk and partying. I trained poorly, I worked too hard, I was burning the candle at both ends. I neglected myself and those that I loved, and eventually, a bad relationship breakdown was the final nail in the coffin. Through it all, I was severely damaging my body, I was struggling with chronic fatigue, gastro-intestinal problems and a chronic ear infection.
It finally came to a breaking point; the realization that I was putting myself in serious risk of destroying my health long term if I didn’t change my ways.
The ironic thing is that I was working as a personal trainer, I should have known better.
So, I looked to the traditional medical system for help.
2/4 The medical system failed me
I WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG
They said nothing showed up in the blood tests and threw medical drugs at me like candy; my body obviously experiencing an extreme allergic reaction to the prescribed antibiotics. Everything was just making things worse. In a twist of faith, one of my clients referred me to a naturopath.
Too hippy, I thought, but I gave it a go.
The naturopath was talking a language I never heard before, but I went in with an open mind. She suggested putting me on a heavy detox protocol, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. My mental health was flipped upside down and, at times, my mind was going to dark places whilst my physical body felt like it was wasting away. But along the path I was guided by the knowledge that the detox was working; it was purging out years of physical and emotional toxicity.
3/4 Resetting the foundations
I CAME OUT THE OTHER SIDE FEELING
LIKE I HAD A CLEAN SLATE.
As I started rebuilding my body from the ground up, my mental health improved significantly, and my physical body started to feel like my own again. As I deep dived into my own health, I realised how little I knew, yet how much influence I had on my clients’ wellbeing when working as a trainer.
That’s where my journey into my Bachelors of Health Sciences (Naturopathy) began.
This experience changed my whole perspective on health and the healing powers of natural therapies. As soon as I realised that the mainstream health advice was B.S and bringing health back to the foundations that have existed since mankind is the stuff that actually works - eating real food, using our bodies the right way, eliminating unnecessary stress are the key foundations for healthy men.
4/4 Flipping men’s health on its head

I’m here to change that. I’ve developed a thorough six-step action plan that gives men what they need: The Healthy Man Method - a framework to optimise their health and wellbeing.
